The Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department proposed INR 2 crore for the development of tourism facilities and the convenience of devotees and visitors at Hanumant Dham, located on the banks of the Gomti River in Lucknow. Hanumant Dham is an ancient and historical temple, prominent among religious sites. A large number of devotees visit this temple for darshan.
The State Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh stated “Tourism facilities are being developed at Hanumant Dham located on the banks of the Gomti River in Lucknow. Hanumant Dham is an ancient temple with great significance. A large number of devotees come here every day. Apart from the local people, devotees from other cities also come for worship. After offering prayers here, they visit nearby places like Bada Imambara, Chota Imambara, and Rumi Darwaza. According to the proposal, benches and other facilities will also be developed for sitting.”
Singh further added “Continuous efforts are being made to bring Uttar Pradesh to the world tourism map. For this, tourist places are being developed. Looking at the needs here, the existing facilities are being further increased. The work is being done to beautify many other buildings and temples of religious and historical importance in the capital to improve tourism facilities.”
