The daily direct flights are set to commence from September 14, 2024
IndiGo has unveiled a new direct route connecting New Delhi and Vijayawada. Set to commence from September 14, these daily flights aim to facilitate trade and enhance business opportunities between the national capital and one of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the country. These new flights will establish a seamless connection between Northern India and Vijayawada, which will also enhance access to international destinations for explorers from the East Coast, via New Delhi.
Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales, IndiGo, said, “As Vijayawada ascends as a pivotal commercial and cultural epicenter in Andhra Pradesh, these flights are poised to offer enhanced connectivity and open doors towards furthering economic opportunities. With the introduction of these flights, IndiGo will operate 135 weekly flights from Vijayawada to 9 cities in India.”
