Doig’s role includes driving trade and consumer marketing activity with the teams in Tourism Australia’s key markets in the region including India, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.
Tourism Australia has announced the appointment of Jennifer Doig to the role of Regional General Manager South and Southeast Asia.
Doig, who brings a wealth of marketing experience in the Asia region to the role, was most recently working for Dubai Tourism as Director of Global Campaigns.
Reporting to Tourism Australia’s Executive General Manager, Eastern Markets & Aviation, Andrew Hogg, Doig will commence in the Singapore-based role on September 16, 2024.
As the Regional General Manager for South and South East Asia, Doig’s role includes driving trade and consumer marketing activity with the teams in Tourism Australia’s key markets in the region including India, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.

Encouragingly, of our key markets in the region, India has already exceeded 2019 levels of visitation whilst Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia continue to steadily work their way back,” Hogg said

In 2019, Australia welcomed almost 2mn visitors annually from South and South East Asia. By 2028 there are forecast to be more than 2.7 mn visitors from markets across South and South East Asia* to Australia.
Prior to joining Dubai Tourism in 2019, Doig’s previous roles include working for global and international brands including Sony Pictures Entertainment, Turner Broadcasting, Ogilvy and Edelman.
