Announces a tri-weekly direct flight between Hyderabad and Madinah
IndiGo announced the launch of new direct service between Hyderabad and Madinah, commencing February 20, 2025. This new route marks IndiGo’s 38th international and 128th overall destination, further strengthening its commitment to connecting people, places, and culture. The airline operates over 190 daily departures connecting 65 domestic and 15 international destinations from Hyderabad.
The three-times-weekly service is expected to provide convenient and affordable travel options for pilgrims and other travellers seeking to visit this revered city.
Talking about this development, Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales, IndiGo, said, “The launch of the Hyderabad-Madinah route is more than just expanding our network; it opens a vital gateway for religious and cultural exchange. By commencing direct flights to Madinah, a major Islamic pilgrimage site, we aim to simplify travel within the region and beyond. With the launch of this flight, IndiGo will now operate over 100 weekly flights to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from India.”
