Stayzilla Partners with Andhra Tourism

After strategic tie ups with six state tourism departments across India, Stayzilla, the largest aggregator of verified homestays, now gets on board with Andhra Pradesh Tourism for the joint promotion and development of Homestays in the state. The MoU was signed in the strategic presence of Ankit Rastogi, Vice President Marketplace, Stayzilla and Himanshu Shukla. IAS, Director Tourism of APT at Vijayawada today. With this association, APTDC becomes the first Tourism Board to associate with a homestay aggregator in South India.

Under this agreement, Stayzilla will lend its expertise to APT to conduct verification procedures and jointly boost homestays and unique stay experiences within Andhra Pradesh. APT is a tourism development body that helps catalyze the economic prosperity of the state. Andhra Pradesh will be one of the first state tourism bodies to tie up with home stay aggregator like Stayzilla to promote the culture of homestays in South India. This partnership will also enable verification and training of these New Homestays being developed right from the start.

Commenting on this announcement, Ankit Rastogi, Vice President Marketplace, Stayzilla said, “We aim to strengthen tourism in South with the first tie-up with a state government tourism body in the region. With this MoU signing we look forward to enhancing the experience of tourists visiting Andhra Pradesh by involving local communities at the helm of tourism by getting them to open up their homes”

“APT aims to promote the tourism in the state full-fledged with our association with Stayzilla. Tourism is a potential sector that creates a lot of jobs for the local people. We believe that this initiative will again provide a better livelihood for many citizens and our people can explore a new way of business by providing home stays in the state,” said Himanshu Shukla, Director Tourism at Andhra Pradesh Tourism.
