Regent Seven Seas Cruises (RSSC) has announced it will be returning to Turkey with eleven itineraries departing in 2019. This captivating country has long been popular with travellers interested in rich culture, history, awe-inspiring architecture and exotic food.
Having recently undergone a multi-million dollar enhancement, the all-suite all-balcony Seven Seas Voyager will sail eleven itineraries commencing in April 2019, calling at Turkish ports including Istanbul, Ephesus (Kusadasi) and Bozcaada.
“Following a review of travel advisories and extensive research by our internal teams, we are delighted to announce we will once again be calling on Turkey. We’ve selected a collection of incredible ports to give our guests a truly memorable impression of this sought-after destination, not only for those interested in the historical significance of the country, but also those keen to explore a part of the region outside of most traditional, cruising itineraries. From the Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace in Istanbul’s eclectic Old City and Ephesus – one of the ancient world’s most significant archaeological and religious sites – to the azure waters and authentic local culture of the island of Bozcaada, we can’t wait to share the sights and sounds of Turkey with our guests next year,” said Lisa Pile, Vice President Sales, Australia & New Zealand at Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
Sailings returning to Istanbul include an 8-day itinerary departing from Rome on October 8th 2019 or guests can indulge in a 31-day sailing exploring some of the greatest destinations in the world such as Mykonos, Rome, Safaga (Egypt) and Dubai departing from Athens on October 16th, 2019.
