Air France – KLM announced enhanced connectivity for Indian passengers to Canada with the introduction of two new frequencies to Vancouver and Edmonton. The frequencies starting March 29, 2015 and May 5, 2015 respectively will allow connectivity for Indian passengers from New Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. With attractive all inclusive fares starting at INR 64200 to Edmonton and INR 66000 to Vancouver passengers can now book for the upcoming summer holidays.
These new services to Vancouver will be in addition to KLM’s offering of 7 weekly flights to this destination from Amsterdam-Schiphol.
As of May 5, 2015, KLM will connect passengers from India to Edmonton, one of the fastest growing economies in Canada. This new frequency will offer 3 weekly flights between Amsterdam and Edmonton and starting June 22, there will be 4 weekly frequencies. KLM will be the first and only airline in continental Europe to connect Europe to the city of Edmonton.
“We are delighted to be offering our customers enhanced connectivity to Canada. There continues to be a strong demand for quality services to Vancouver and Edmonton as it is a leading global business and education destination and also for visiting friends and relatives. Further, the complementary nature of Air France and KLM’s flight schedules gives customers a greater choice of connections via the hubs at Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam-Schiphol. In addition, thanks to our partnership with WestJet, we can offer our customers a network of 38 routes in Canada,” Yeshwant Pawar, General Manager AFKL, South Asia, said.
