BENGALURU’S UK VISA CENTRE GETS NEW FACILITIES

Ian Felton, British Deputy High Commissioner; Thomas Greig, Regional Director, UK Border Agency and Murali Raghavan, COO for South Asia and CIS, VFS Global, formally launched the new UK visa application centre in Bengaluru recently. The new centre provides enhanced service for the UK-bound travellers and businesses in Bengaluru. It’s premium lounge provides customers with the option of submitting their applications in a separate comfortable lounge with dedicated staff and additional facilities. In addition, the new internet facilities allow customers to complete and print their online visa application forms. These are the first internet facilities to be introduced to the UK visa application centres, and will be rolled out to others in due course. Furthermore, the normal hours for submission of applications and collection of documents are being extended by two hours for the convenience of customers in Bengaluru. Hence, with immediate effect, the opening hours for the centre are 8am to 4pm, and the centre’s services will also be extended to Saturdays and holidays between 11am and 3pm.
