Aiming to deepen the knowledge and understanding of students, Bird Academy, the educational arm of Bird Group recently conducted an interactive session for students with Sanjiv Edward, Chairman of The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA).
The session held at the Bird Academy premises and was led and conducted by V. K. Bhatia, VP- E-cargo Bird Group and Dr. T.V Narayanan, Head- Bird Academy.
Commenting on the occasion, Radha Bhatia, Chairperson, Bird Group shared, “At Bird Academy, it is our constant endeavor to provide the best possible learning and skills which will help them to become quality professionals to the industry. We are honored and grateful to Edward for sparing precious moments from his busy schedule and encouraging and motivating the students through the wealth of his experience.”
The session saw participation of over 30 students from Bird Academy who are currently undergoing specialized training in all segments of Aviation, Hospitality and Travel and Tourism. The session was aimed at sharing in-depth knowledge of the cargo industry as well as boosting confidence among students to encourage them in their future careers. The training session evoked a huge response from the Bird Academy students who very enthusiastically participated in the interactive question and answer session.
