The Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC) recorded a growth of 12.9 percent in visitor arrivals from India to Canada from Jan-May 2014 over the same period last year. 2014 has seen a number of initiatives to simplify and hasten the Canadian Visa process in India. Canadian Visa centres are now operational at ten cities, and CTC is focussing on partnering with agents across the country to promote Canada as a four season destination in India.
“CTC is working hard to strengthen its roots in tier II cities as well as the metros. So far it has been a good year. We have seen a growth each month. We hope to have rising numbers throughout the year,” said SanJeet, India Representative, CTC
