InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has signed a management agreement with Thanishq Grande Hotels & Resorts for Holiday Inn Express Bengaluru Bommasandra. The new-built hotel will feature 170 keys and is expected to be operational by Q4 2022. IHG currently operates three Holiday Inn Express hotels in Bengaluru, and the recent signing will further strengthen the brand’s presence in the city.
The Holiday Inn Express brand has recently gained significant momentum in the country with the opening of 10 hotels, across key cities, positioning IHG as one of the leading hospitality players in the midscale segment in India.

IHG currently has 36 hotels operating across four brands in India, including InterContinental Hotels and Resorts, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express, and a strong pipeline of 43 hotels due to open in the next 2-3 years.
