ITC Grand Chola recently completed a year of successful operations. “It has been an eventful year since we opened our doors to the city of Chennai, India and the rest of world. In line with ITC Hotels’ ethos of Responsible Luxury, ITC Grand Chola is the largest LEED Platinum Certified Hotel (New Constructions Category) in the world and has been the recipient of a 5-Star GRIHA Rating by President Pranab Mukherjee, recognizing its significantly low carbon footprint. It is also the first hotel in India to be awarded a 5-Star rating from the Association of Development and Research of Sustainable Habitats (ADaRSH).
