Gaurav Wattal is the newly appointed Director of Operations at JW Marriott Mumbai. He has spent nearly 12 years in the hospitality industry at various positions at many prestigious hotels such as The Oberoi group, and Trident before joining the Marriot International in 2011.
Gaurav has worked as the Director of Food and Beverage at Goa Marriott Resort and Spa, and JW Marriott Bengaluru, during which he had remarkable achievements. While he was working at the Goa Marriott Resort and Spa, he received the ‘First Two Quarters India Cluster Award’ for most improved profitability over last year (an increase of 4 per cent); he achieved an AES score of 99 per cent for food and beverage. Furthermore, the hotel won three awards for restaurants in 2012 during his tenure.
