Initiatives
The Tagline of the TAAI Nagpur Chapter is: ‘Learn – Grow – Network’. We had arranged a few training sessions on different destinations out of which destination Iceland was highly appreciated by all the members. We also arranged a few motivational programs for the chapter members and also organized a fam trip to Iran for our members. A few more Fam trips are underway to destinations like Coorg and Kovalam.
We have inducted 12 new members in the Nagpur chapter. We are currently 50 members with a target of 100 memberships by the end of our tenure. We want to increase our membership and create awareness of TAAI in Vidarbha by telling them how TAAI works for its members.
Challenges
Members are very much concerned by the revised rate of 20 % TCS on tour packages. We have arranged an interactive session on the implementation of TCS by a renowned CA of Nagpur for our chapter members. Apart from this a lot of money is at stake with Go First as they have closed their operations. We have guided our members to lodge their claims with NCLT in coordination with TAAI.
