The MGallery Hotel Collection is delighted to announce the opening of its first hotel in Hong Kong. The Silveri Hong Kong – MGallery is a chic, eco-friendly urban resort hotel styled after a modern manor house in Tung Chung, Lantau Island.
Thoughtfully designed to be stylishly sustainable, the hotel has achieved a BEAM Plus Gold rating and will offer numerous green initiatives and eco-friendly guest experiences.
“It is with great pleasure that we introduce The Silveri Hong Kong – MGallery, an absolutely stunning hotel that is raising the bar for sustainably responsible travel and positive hospitality,” said Gary Rosen, Chief Executive Officer, Accor Greater China.
“MGallery is a brand that is exceptionally caring when it comes to its guests and its destinations, expertly balancing urban sophistication with natural beauty. Hong Kong is an ideal fit for this new flagship hotel, welcoming domestic and international guests to experience MGallery’s Memorable Moments and thoughtful touches which are fueling its worldwide record growth and popularity.”
The Silveri Hong Kong – MGallery takes its name and inspiration from the historic silver mines of Hong Kong’s Lantau Island. The 206-room-and-suite hotel shines with a silver décor, from metallic design motifs throughout the hotel, to the outdoor sculpture garden, to the shimmering views of sunlit waves upon the sea. Lantau, once a mountainous land dotted with silver mines, has evolved to become part of the vibrant metropolis of Hong Kong, while retaining that special feeling of being a world away.
The new flagship MGallery hotel offers an idyllic retreat, and it is conveniently located within the iconic Citygate mixed-use commercial complex, a mere five-minutes away from the Hong Kong International Airport and just 30 minutes from the city centre.
