‘PM Shri Paryatan Vayu Sewa’ will prove to be a milestone for the tourism sector of the state. Principal Secretary Tourism and Culture and Managing Director Tourism Board Sheo Shekhar Shukla said that booking counters have been set up at the airports of Indore, Bhopal and Jabalpur for booking air services.
An initiative by Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board to connect the beautiful tourist places of the state, PM Shri Paryatan Vayu Sewa will kickstart today. The operation of Air Tourism Service will kick-start from June 13 to connect Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Rewa, Ujjain, Gwalior, Singrauli and Khajuraho. Chief Minister of the state Dr. Mohan Yadav will flag off the aircraft of ‘PM Shri Paryatan Vayu Sewa. The first flight will cover the Bhopal-Jabalpur-Rewa-Singrauli route.
The Flyola website has been developed as an online facility for ticket booking, which was launched by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on June 11. The air service is being started with two 6-seat aircraft. Dr. Yadav has launched the ‘PM Shri Paryatan Vayu Sewa’ from the State Hangar in Bhopal on March 14.
Principal Secretary Tourism and Culture and Managing Director Tourism Board Sheo Shekhar Shukla said that under the guidance of CM, the Tourism Department is continuously innovating to improve and ease the connectivity between the tourist destinations of the state and to expand tourism facilities. ‘PM Shri Paryatan Vayu Sewa’ will prove to be a milestone for the tourism sector of the state. Along with the tourism sector, air service will also be beneficial for Commerce industry, trade, health, education and for the promotion of culture and art.
Principal Secretary Shukla said that booking counters have been set up at the airports of Indore, Bhopal and Jabalpur for booking air services. At present, 8 cities of the state are being connected through air service which will be expanded to some more cities in the coming time.
First Flight from Gwalior will take off on June 15.
Air service is being connected to major cities of the state. In the dignified presence of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, air service will start from Gwalior on June 15 and then from Ujjain on June 16. Interested tourists can get offers, schedules and fare-related information at www.flyola.in.
Rewa city is being connected to Indore, Jabalpur and Bhopal on Monday and Thursday. Gwalior city is being connected on two days in a week: Indore, Bhopal and Ujjain on Tuesday and Bhopal on Saturday. Ujjain city is being connected to Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior three days a week on Tuesday, Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur on Wednesday and Indore, Bhopal on Sunday. Khajuraho city is being connected to Bhopal and Jabalpur once a week on Friday. The Air Taxi service fare will be affordable with an aim of promoting this new initiative and keeping it feasible for travellers.
