The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board’s roadshow in Ahmedabad, aimed at showcasing the state’s incredible tourism offerings and fostering collaboration between key industry stakeholders, concluded on a high note. The event on August 10, 2024 at the Courtyard by Marriott witnessed enthusiastic participation from Madhya Pradesh’s Tourism and Ahmedabad’s local stakeholders, resulting in promising partnerships and greater prospects for tourism in the “Heart of Incredible India.”

One of the most significant aspects of the ‘MPT Roadshow’ was the participation of the key stakeholders from MP’s tourism industry, including travel agents, tour operators, and hoteliers. They shook hands with their counterparts in Ahmedabad to create networks and partnerships that will enhance tourism prospects for the state. This collaborative effort will not only promote tourism in Madhya Pradesh but also facilitate tourism flows between the two states.

Principal Secretary Tourism and Culture Department and Managing Director, of MP Tourism Board Sheo Shekhar Shukla (IAS), highlighted that “We are satisfied with the outcome of our roadshow in Ahmedabad. It reaffirms our belief in the importance of collaboration within the tourism industry. The partnerships forged during this event will undoubtedly enhance tourism prospects for both Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat.”

“The roadshow not only deepened the understanding of MP’s tourism potential among Ahmedabad’s residents but also established strong bonds between the two regions, encouraging travellers to explore the beauty and diversity of Madhya Pradesh. We are excited to continue working closely with our Ahmedabad counterparts and exploring new avenues for collaboration, marketing, and tourism promotion. We are also delighted to inform you that unique and much-anticipated jungle safari states are set to begin on October 1, 2024.”

Minister of Tourism, Culture, Religious Trust and Endowments Department (Independent Charge), Dharmendra Lodhi said, “Road shows are being organised in various cities with the objective of promoting the glorious and splendid tourism offerings of Madhya Pradesh across the country. In this series, a road show has been organised in Ahmedabad. Travel agents and tour operators from Gujarat were made aware about tourist destinations and various products of Madhya Pradesh.”

The state is undoubtedly a treasure trove of tourism experiences and an “Offbeat Multispecialty Destination of First Choice”.
