Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) associates with India Tourism to promote “Swachhata Hi Sewa Campaign” to clean Juhu beach as a part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan initiated by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. On the Occasion the dignitaries of India Tourism and MTDC participated and Ravi Kisan, the eminent Bhojpuri Actor was present to support the cause.
Maharashtra is one of the finest travel destinations of India for travellers, pilgrims, artist’s, adventure lovers, and businessmen. The prominence of “Swachhata Hi Sewa Campaign” is progressively felt for enhancing tourism, which is an important factor in job creation and financial development. One facet that has impact on tourism in the State of Maharashtra, as international and domestic travellers relates to hygiene and this aspect has become a need to boost tourist. However, an awareness in terms of instruction, demonstration and training needs to be provided to certify that these means become part of a nationwide mind, at household and outside. Adequate individual and ecological cleanliness has a key impact on the goodwill of India and State of Maharashtra and the tourism sector, where the initial impression of a tourist is often the last.
