Ras Al Khaimah’s first Sofitel resort opens its doors

The Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort, which officially opened its doors on May 13, offers 292 rooms, ranging from the Classic King to the Luxury Double categories, all featuring exclusive amenities. It also has seven dining venues.

Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort, under the holding company Al Hamra Real Estate Development LLC, has made a luxurious debut on the shores of Ras Al Khaimah, as it officially opened its doors on May 13. The 5-star property is nestled within Al Hamara Village, lining the coastline of Ras Al Khaimah and will be known for a bespoke experience for the discerning traveller. This is emirate’s first Sofitel property.

The Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort offers 292 rooms, ranging from the Classic King to the Luxury Double categories, all featuring exclusive Dyptique amenities. These include 47 suites, including the Prestige One Bedroom, Beachfront Signature Two Bedrooms, and Two Presidential Suites.

Boasting a privileged location, opulent amenities, and hallmark service, the hotel is poised to attract discerning residents of the UAE as well as esteemed figures from Ras Al Khaimah’s local, regional, and international spheres,” said Karim Abdelhamid, General Manager of Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort.

The property features four beachfront swimming pools overlooking the waters of the Gulf. Besides, there are seven dining venues catering to every palate. These include Citron- a lobby, East- an all-day dining restaurant, Samphire- the Pool Bar, Reunion for the French cuisine, Waka Polynesian Restaurant for Polynesian cuisine, Veritas Wine Bar and Blend & Squeeze Juice Bar.

For those seeking more exclusive and personalised services, the property includes Club Millesime and for families, there is Le Petit Prince Kids Club. Guests can also choose to relax at the first Sofitel Spa with Clarins. Additionally, the property also has a convenient access to Al Hamra Golf Club, an 18-hole championship golf course.

Overall, the hotel showcases the French Art de Vivre, blending with local architecture and art while drawing inspiration from the journeys of nomads across the Peninsula. The grand lobby features a mural adorned with vibrant hues, drawing inspiration from Arabesque stained-glass.
