Ginger Hotels, from Roots Corporation – a subsidiary of The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), recently announced the launch of its first hotel in Katra at the foothills of the Vaishno Devi temple. Roots Corporation has entered into a management contract with BVPK Hotels for the management of the 80-room property.
Commenting on the launch P.K Mohankumar, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Roots Corporation said, “We are delighted to expand our portfolio to the foothills of the Vaishno Devi temple with the opening of our first Ginger Hotel in Katra, Jammu. We are confident that Ginger Hotel will be able to cater to the needs of religious travellers visiting the pilgrim destination.”

Ginger Katra is designed to cater to the needs of families with an option of rooms that can accommodate up to four guests in the family rooms.
