Held at India Expo Centre in Noida this year, SATTE 2024 had nearly 1500 exhibitors and over 35,000 trade attendees across three days, with more than 800 buyers from India and overseas. Moving to the new venue for next year, SATTE will be held from February 19 to 21, 2025 at Yashobhoomi which will become the largest exhibition venue in the country upon completion of all phases.
The 2025 edition of SATTE (South Asia’s Travel and Tourism Exchange), an initiative by Informa Markets, will be hosted at Yashobhoomi, a newly inaugurated state-of-the-art international convention and expo centre in India. This marks a significant shift from its long-standing venue at the India Expo Centre in Noida, where it had been held for many years.
The event, scheduled for February 19 to 21, 2025, will be held at the new venue in Dwarka which was inaugurated last September by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This Greenfield Exhibition Centre is a Government of India project managed by the Ministry of Commerce. Spanning 220 acres, Yashobhoomi is designated as India’s new MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) destination and will become the largest exhibition venue in India upon completion of all phases. Currently, phase one is completed and operational.

Elaborating the key features of SATTE 2025, Mehra shared, “Generating new leads, networking with key decision-makers, using SATTE as a launch pad for new products, increasing brand awareness, gathering market intelligence, and developing new and interesting relationships, will be our key priorities.”
New venue, new expectations:
The shift to Yashobhoomi promises a unique and enhanced experience for SATTE 2025 attendees. Not just the organisers but also the exhibitors and key attendees are enthusiastic about the new venue and the opportunities it presents.
During a recent venue show around organised by the team on Friday, attendees had the opportunity to experience a live exhibition, India Health Expo by Informa, showcasing the capabilities of Yashobhoomi as well as the branding opportunities for the potential exhibitors.
Speaking with T3 on the sidelines, Siriges-a-nong Trirattanasongpol, the Director at Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) New Delhi Office expressed, “Thanks to Informa for inviting us to inspect this impressive venue. I am sure that this modern, accessible venue will facilitate productive business dialogues between buyers and sellers at SATTE 2025.”
“For the Thailand Tourism’s participation at the next edition, we plan to recruit new sellers to meet the buyers here. We aim to create something new, offer new products to the buyers because we feel SATTE is one of the most fruitful platforms in South Asia, and we will continue to join this event,” she highlighted.
“We also value the participation of old sellers who are very keen to participate in SATTE. They would love to see new buyers, especially those with the potential to create new demand for their offerings,” she added.
Sharing his views, Kean Bon Lim – Area Director- India, South Asia and Africa, Singapore Tourism Board shared, “Having experienced two SATTE events at the previous venue, I find the new venue quite different, definitely interesting. The change in space, setting, and proximity to the airport can be advantageous for international exhibitors. This new venue brings fresh possibilities and for the next edition, I’m optimistic that it will be a successful show.”
SATTE Connect, Roadshows in the offing
As part of the marketing strategy for SATTE, the concept of SATTE Connect was launched. Initially started in one city two years ago, it expanded to three cities this year: Chennai, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad. This tabletop format engages local trade partners and offers an opportunity to meet at a regional or local level with the trade community. Additionally, there is an extensive roadshow covering cities like Chandigarh, Jaipur, Surat, Vadodara, Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Kochi, aimed at engaging the trade community and promoting SATTE.
“Despite concerns that SATTE is too crowded, we implement numerous initiatives to engage the trade community from various cities and territories, maximising benefits for exhibitors over the three days,” said Mehra.
Venturing into Bangladesh
In an exciting development, SATTE is also expanding within the South Asia region with the upcoming SATTE Connect Bangladesh, to be held on August 9 and 10. To be held at the International Convention City, Bashundhara, Dhaka, SATTE Connect aims to drive the growth of Bangladesh’s travel and tourism industry, highlighting the country’s diverse potential as a travel destination. With Bangladesh’s tourism sector experiencing a resurgence post-pandemic, welcoming 650,000 tourists in 2023, including 300,000 from India, the timing is ideal for SATTE Connect Bangladesh.
This event will serve as a comprehensive marketplace for discussing opportunities in inbound, outbound, and domestic travel. Expected to attract over 3,000 trade visitors, 200 trade buyers, and 150 exhibitors, the event will feature conferences and knowledge sessions to explore industry insights, opportunities, and challenges in Bangladesh’s travel sector
