Initiatives
Skill development of staff in the travel industry is the main initiative that our team is currently focusing on. With the support of the South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Surat, we are planning to start a basic course for freshers. The course of 8 weeks will provide ample insight into our industry, and it will provide guidance in every aspect possible. We also will conduct a workshop with renowned Chartered Accountants who can guide our members with regard to the newly implemented TCS that has increased to 20%.
Challenges
Our industry suffered the most during the Covid-19 period and the best part is we got over the situation together. Today, we are back on our feet. We have suffered financially due to the shutting down of a few airlines. But by God’s grace, we have always come out of such situations stronger than before.
