The 2025 event will be IATO’s third convention in Odisha. The earlier two edition were organized in 2008 and 2017
The 40th IATO Annual Convention is set to be held in Puri, Odisha in September 2025 informed Rajiv Mehra, President – Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO). He further added that the association had submitted its proposal to have its annual convention in Puri, Odisha and the proposal has been accepted by the Odisha Government Tourism Department.
“This will be IATO’s 3rd Annual Convention in Odisha. IATO had earlier organized its 24th Annual Convention in Bhubaneswar in 2008 and 33rd IATO Annual Convention in 2017,” informed the IATO President. He also said that Puri will be a very attractive destination for the IATO members and he expects about 1000 delegates to join for the convention. He thanked Shri Aswini Kumar Patra, Tourism Minister of Odisha and Odisha Tourism for accepting IATO’s Proposal.
The 33rd IATO Annual convention held in 2017 in Mayfair Convention Centre, Bhubaneswar, Odisha was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik. Mehra said that the event was a very successful convention and was attended by about 900 delegates from all over the country.
IATO will soon announce the venue for 39th IATO Annual Convention which is also being finalized.
