Thailand has launched it’s Thailand Elite Card whose membership offers a large array of incentives. The Card’s facilities include reception on arrival right at the aircraft gate; separate immigration; complimentary airport to city transfers in luxury cars; and spa and golf privileges. The Travel Trade Representations Office c/o Apollo Voyages are their exclusive Indian sales representatives.
One of the highlights of Thai Elite Card is that it allows an individual the privilege to travel to Thailand for 20 years and stay there without having to leave the country. In addition a special status is provided to allow land ownership, be able to get Work permits and to get Thai Drivers license. The members are provided facilitation of liaison with the Govt. Departments for doing business with Thailand.
At present there are four types of Elite Card memberships on offer – Individual Membership Card that comes at the costing of THB 2 million and provides 20 years membership for one person, transferable; Family Membership Card at THB 1 million for each accompanying family member, subject to the validity of Individual membership, transferable; Thailand Easy Access which comes at the cost of THB 500,000 and is valid for 5 years, which can later be upgraded to Individual membership by paying the difference amount of THB 1.5 million; and Property Membership which costs THB 1 Million with a 20 year membership for 1 person and is transferable.
