Tourism Authority of Thailand, New Delhi office will be organizing its annual roadshow from 2nd to 7th August 2013. The focus this year will be on Tier II cities in North India such as Raipur (2 Aug), Lucknow( 5 Aug) and Ludhiana (7 Aug) in order to expand our reach to a wider audience and target new segments.
The roadshow will highlight new products and offerings from Amazing Thailand. TAT will be joined by hotels, entertainment providers and destination management companies (DMCs) from Thailand. TAT is expecting over 100 attendees from the travel trade in each city. The roadshow will be a good platform for TAT to promote Thailand to new travel partners. It will also serve as a good networking and business opportunity session between the sellers and travel trade and media in these cities as it is one-on-one meeting session.
TAT will promote new destinations such as Rayong and Samed Islands, Koh Chang, Khao Yai, Ayutthaya, Kanchanaburi , Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai besides Bangkok, Pattaya, Hua Hin, Phuket & Koh Samui, across all segments from leisure, weddings and celebrations, golf as well health and wellness.
India is a very important source market for Thailand and over 1 million Indian travellers visited Thailand in 2012.
