Built in 1936, the 235-key iconic New Delhi hotel also boasts of the world’s largest private collection of 5,500 Indo-European artworks from 17th & 18th century.

The Imperial New Delhi has joined The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd., becoming the only property in India to enter the exclusive network of independent, luxury hotels. The hotel will also be part of the Leading Hotels’ exclusive loyalty program, Leaders Club. 

Nestled in the heart of India’s bustling capital and spread over an eight-acre estate on Janpath, the luxury hotel property in the oldest in the national capital and has played host to Hollywood celebrities, Bollywood luminaries, and global royalty, among others.

The iconic property boasts of 235 elegantly appointed rooms and lavish suites, adorned by hundreds of hand-knotted carpets, the world’s largest private collection of 5,500 Indo-European artworks from 17th & 18th century, and more. Imperial’s array of world class restaurants, the Indo-European brasserie 1911, San Gimignano and Spice Route, offer a variety of flavours, from Italian cuisine to the bold spices of Asia.

The hotel’s also offers three bars boasting of unparalleled ambience and libations. Its wellness sanctuary spans an impressive 44,000 square feet offering rejuvenation and wellness programme guided by a resident Ayurvedic doctor and expert therapists.
