TIGERAIR PARTNERS WITH STB TO CELEBRATE SINGAPORE’S GOLDEN JUBILEE

Tigerair recently announced its partnership with Singapore Tourism Board (STB) to celebrate Singapore’s Golden Jubilee and 50 years of bilateral relations between Singapore and India. To commemorate this special occasion, Tigerair has announced a celebratory fare of 50 per cent off on all Singapore-bound Tigerair flights from five Indian cities. As part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations, Singapore is rolling out a bonanza of promotions and special experiences for overseas visitors.

Speaking on the occasion, Teh Yik Chuan, Director – Sales and Marketing, Tigerair Singapore said, “Finding partners that complement what we do to benefit our customers, has been our constant endeavour. We are proud to partner with the Singapore Tourism Board to celebrate the 50th year of Singapore’s independence. We are confident that this collaboration will aid us in accomplishing our common aim, which is to give the opportunity to as many Indian travellers to experience Singapore. We are happy to invite Indian travel enthusiasts to be a part of this gala celebration in Singapore.”

Bridget Goh, Area Director, Singapore Tourism Board said, “2015 marks a tremendous milestone for Singapore as a young nation. As part of our Golden Jubilee campaign, we’ve lined up a treasure trove of events and activities offering exclusive tourist experiences and privileges. We are excited to partner with Tigerair and we’d like to invite our friends from India to join us in commemorating this special occasion. India is among the top five visitor markets for Singapore with over 943,000 Indian travellers last year and the average length of stay increased to almost a week.”
