Tony Blair, Former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1997 to 2007, will address the World Travel & Tourism Council’s Asia Summit, to be held in Seoul, Korea, 10-11 September 2013. Blair will give his observations on leadership and the current geopolitical climate, as it relates to the health of the Travel & Tourism industry. He will reflect on the social and economic contribution of industry as a driver of jobs and economic prosperity.

The Asia Summit will address what needs to be done to harness the continent’s enormous growth potential, showcasing countries which are driving the industry with an enlightened approach, and drawing comparisons with positive and negative experiences in other parts of the world. The theme ‘Staying Ahead of Tomorrow’ will provide a stimulating exchange between private and public sector, tackling some of the most pressing issues facing travel and tourism today and over the next decade.
