Renowned cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle has been appointed on the Tourism Australia’s ‘Friends of Australia’ (FOA) advocacy panel. The FOA award was presented to Harsha for his contribution to promote Australia, by Andrew Robb AO MP, Minister for Trade and Investment, during the recently concluded Australia Business Week in India (ABWI).
The FOA Program has been devised as a way for us to foster mutually beneficial and long-term ‘friendships’ with those Tourism Australia regards as unique, positive and influential story-tellers. With more than 180 Friends of Australia spread across the world, including Richard Branson, Baz Luhrmann, Brett Lee, Matt Moran, Sanjeev Kapoor, etc., Tourism Australia is able to create buzz and excitement about Australia as a must-visit holiday destination.
