In an industry-first initiative, Tourism Australia has launched an exclusive incentive for qualified Aussie Specialists to become an ‘Aussie Specialist Ambassador’. As a part of this programme, one winner from India will join a bespoke trip to the land Down Under and share their incredible Aussie experiences with other international travel sellers.
To participate, travel agents need sign up for the Aussie Specialist Program. Complete five modules to qualify as an Aussie Specialist, if not already qualified. Film and submit a video of upto two mins explaining why they believe there is nothing like Australia and why they should be the first ever Aussie Specialist Ambassador
For agents who are not a part of the Aussie Specialist Program, it is a opportunity to enrol into this comprehensive programme which provides immense benefits to qualified participants who can gain access to bespoke training modules, sales resources, travel offers from Australian operators, invitations to attend exclusive Tourism Australia events and training programs and receive regular product updates.

We want these Aussie Specialist Ambassadors to experience why there’s truly nothing like Australia and have a fantastic time experiencing our world-class tourism products and share their enthusiasm and insights with other travel sellers in their home market. We hope the content created by the Ambassadors will help other Aussie Specialists improve their product knowledge, encourage more enrolments to the program and ultimately help more people book their Australian holidays.”
Applications to the Aussie Specialist Ambassador program from qualified Indian Aussie Specialist agents are open until 28 April and the winner will be declared by mid-May 2019. The Ambassador will travel on a spectacular 10-day hosted fam mid -June, with an unparallel opportunity of upgrading their knowledge of Australia through an experience of an amazing array of destinations, attractions and remarkable accommodations. The Ambassador’s experiences will be documented in a video to be promoted amongst their peers and on owned social media platforms.
