As part of its expansion in India and meeting the growing passenger base, Turkish Airlines deployed B777-300ER on its Mumbai-Istanbul-Mumbai route from July 1, 2013. This aircraft was deployed on flights from Mumbai to Istanbul for the initial period of 3 months and will continue to deploy B777-300ER on its Mumbai-Istanbul-Mumbai route up till 31st March 2014 as a result of very positive response from the passengers.
The B777-300ER has 38 Business class seats and 274 Economy class seats and is the biggest aircraft in the Turkish Airlines fleet. With a total of 312 seats, the new aircraft will have more capacity for passengers as well as for cargo. This aircraft offers full flat beds in business class with all seats in both cabins fitted with individual TVs with inflight entertainment system.
