The initiative aims to promote tourism and facilitate tourists in the state. After the MoU was signed, Mukesh Kumar Meshram, Principal Secretary, Department of Tourism and Culture, Uttar Pradesh said that, “Uttar Pradesh has immense potential for tourism and MakeMyTrip will be a partner in realizing this potential. MakeMyTrip will assist such tourists and create packages based on this information. He also mentioned that tourists like to travel during holidays and those looking for something new will be attracted to wellness tourism. The MoU signed between the Tourism Department and MakeMyTrip will be beneficial for tourists while it will also be helpful in formulating future policies in favour of tourists.”

Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh said, “UP is a treasure trove of diverse experiences. This partnership will prove to be a milestone. It will help us create effective plans for the future by considering travellers’ preferences. Leveraging MakeMyTrip’s platform and expertise, we are eager to welcome visitors.”
