Residents of Mumbai and New Delhi travelling to Bulgaria can now apply for their visas through VFS Global at the new Bulgaria Visa Application Centres launched in the cities. The centre in Mumbai was formally inaugurated by Eleonora Dimitrova, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to India.
In the coming months, VFS Global will commence Bulgaria visa services in 14 additional cities across India, namely Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Goa, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jalandhar, Kochi, Kolkata, Puducherry, Pune and Thiruvananthapuram. The wide network of operations will also be leveraged to promote Bulgaria as an ideal destination for Indian travellers.
Speaking on the occasion, the Ambassador said, “Bollywood discovered Bulgaria and shared the beauties of our country in its movies. The number of Indian tourists visiting Bulgaria is growing and we are happy to have VFS Global as a partner to help us make it an even more visible and desirable destination for the Indian travellers. Bulgaria is a Discovery to Share!”

Prior to this, customers had to visit the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in New Delhi to apply for their visas.
VFS Global commenced its partnership with Bulgaria in 2008, and currently operates 95 Bulgaria Visa Application Centres in Kazakhstan, Oman, China, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, UAE and Ukraine.
