As more and more Indonesian travellers venture out to explore the world and seek new experiences, data analysis by VFS Global shows growing preference for premium services such as ‘doorstep visa service’ by discerning set of travellers who prefer convenience and comfort
In the first half of 2024 (H1 2024), demand for VFS Global’s optional Visa At Your Doorstep (VAYD) service in Indonesia has increased by 170% as compared with the same period last year.
The Visa At Your Doorstep service is available for individuals and groups such as corporate employees or families, who prefer not to travel to the visa application centres to apply for their visas. A small team will travel to the applicant’s chosen location to complete the visa application process, including biometric enrollment (capturing fingerprint scans and a photograph), if applicable.

VFS Global currently offers VAYD services for 7 countries in Indonesia – Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Japan, and UK (known as On Demand Mobile Visa).
The Visa At Your Doorstep service is also available for applicants in other major Asia Pacific countries such as Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
