Vietnam’s carrier VietJet officially welcomes Indian passengers on direct flights connecting Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) and Kochi (India) from August 12, 2023.

With strategic expansions in Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad and Kochi, the airline has established a strong presence and connectivity between Vietnam and India.
Constantly expanding the flight network connecting India with Vietnam, the airline will operate with a frequency of four flights/week on every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday
Furthermore, VietJet expands its fleet to meet growing travel demand: Receives 6th A330 and Adds 3 A321 neo ACF Aircraft in May 2023. The new additions prioritize fuel savings, emission reduction, and environmental protection. These modern aircraft will replace older ones, enhancing operational efficiency, cost savings, and delivering exceptional flight experiences to passengers at affordable fares.
Additionally, the airline has also announced two other international routes, connecting Hanoi (Vietnam) with Hiroshima (Japan), and Ho Chi Minh City (Viet Nam) to Jakarta (Indonesia), respectively.
Starting from July 19, 2022, the airline will launch a twice-weekly service between Hanoi and Hiroshima, with flights operating on Wednesdays and Sundays.
The route linking Ho Chi Minh City to Jakarta will commence operations on August 5, 2023, with daily flights.
