Virgin Atlantic announces its expansion in India with new daily flying from London Heathrow to Bengaluru (Bangalore). With the launch of Bengaluru in summer 2024, the airline is expected to offer almost 500,000 seats each year between the UK and India. Launching on 31st March, the new service will be the airline’s fourth daily service to India.
The Bengaluru flights will operate on Virgin Atlantic’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft featuring 31 Upper Class, 35 Premium, and 192 Economy Delight, Classic, and Light seats as well as the airline’s signature Upper Class social space.
