Fortune Hotels recently opened its 48th property, Fortune Park Aligarh, in Uttar Pradesh. The latest addition is Fortune’s fourth property in the state with others in Kanpur and Greater Noida waiting to be added to the company’s growing portfolio in the state.
Fortune Hotels, a member of ITC’s hotel group, has launched its hotel in the city of Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh. Fortune Park Aligarh is ITC’s fourth operational hotel under the Fortune brand in Uttar Pradesh. Located on the Grand Trunk Road, in the heart of the city, the newly opened hotel will provide its guests easy access to the city’s industrial areas and important monuments and attractions such as Jama Masjid, Aligarh Clock Tower, Khereshwar Mandir and Naqvi Park. The upscale hotel, with its warm hospitality, an array of F&B outlets, and large event spaces, is intended to be an ideal address for city residents and business as well as leisure travellers.
Speaking on the launch occasion, Samir MC, Managing Director of Fortune Hotels, said, “We aim to bring more Fortune hotels in UP. The introduction of the two hotels, one in Kanpur and other in Greater Noida, is already confirmed.” Fortune Park Aligarh is the 48th operational property of ITC under its Fortune brand. In Uttar Pradesh, this is the fourth Fortune hotel; the other three operational Fortune hotels are in Lucknow, NOIDA, and Ghaziabad.
“Aligarh is an important city in Uttar Pradesh, known for its prestigious Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). The manufacturing sector is also expanding in Aligarh. Of late, IT companies are also coming to the city in a big number. So, there is an opportunity for us in the city. We are confident that our debut in Aligarh will be very successful in the coming years,” added Samir.
Fortune Park Aligarh has 65 well-appointed rooms in five categories namely Deluxe King, Deluxe Twin, Fortune Suite, Fortune, Executive Suite, and Presidential suite. “About 1000 square feet in size, the presidential suite of the hotel is the largest in the city so far,” said Amit Kumar Srivastava, the General Manager of the hotel, speaking at the launch event held in the hotel. “Aligarh is famous for its hospitality and cuisines. That is why we have chosen the city, known as the ‘City of Locks’, to open this hotel. We are sure that this hotel will also be known for its hospitality in the city,” added Srivastava.
For dining, the hotel features Zodiac, an all-day dining multi-cuisine restaurant, serving city residents as well as its guests. The hotel also features a rooftop restaurant Nakshatra along with a discotheque. “Our rooftop restaurant along with the discotheque will open within a month, and it will be the first discotheque in the city,” said Srivastava.
The hotel also features three banquet halls in different sizes with small to large spaces and equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. These halls are ideal for small weddings, company off-site meeting, social events, celebrations, conferences, and other events. “While ‘Falak’ can host about 50 people at a time, Andaz’s capacity is of 250-300 guests. Jalsaa is our largest banquet hall with a capacity of hosting 500-600 guests,” said Srivastava.
Also present at the launch event were Sanjeev Kumar Gupta and Sharad Mittal, both managing partners of Sudharaj Hospitality, which owns the newly built hotel. Their shared vision is to make Fortune Park Aligarh a notable address in Aligarh, and enrich the city’s hospitality experiences.
